Conditions: The certification of locations where class 2.1.1 substances are present is limited to: packages (cylinders) to a maximum aggregate quantity of 1,000 kg or 1,000 cubic meters (permanent gases); and bulk storage to a maximum aggregate quantity of 5,000 kg.
The certification of locations where class 2.1.2 substances are present is limited to: packages to a maximum aggregate water capacity of 100,000 L.

The certification of locations where class 3.1 substances are present is limited to: storage in closed packages in one or more AS 1940 cabinets to a maximum aggregate quantity of 1,000 L; closed packages with a maximum aggregate quantity of 2,000 L in a store in a building or a maximum aggregate quantity of 10,000 L in a type D store in a building as per Regulation 11.31, Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017; closed packages with a maximum aggregate quantity of 10,000 L for storage in a detached building; and bulk storage with a maximum aggregate capacity of 120,000 L.

Conditions: The authorisation for stationary container systems is limited to above ground and below ground tanks up to maximum capacity of 60,000 L (water capacity) per tank used or intended to be used to contain a hazardous liquid.

The authorisation for stationary container systems for above ground tanks and below ground tanks, which have previously been issued certified, is limited to a maximum capacity of 120,000 L (aggregate total) used or intended to be used to contain a hazardous liquid.

The authorisation for stationary container systems does not include the repair, alteration and maintenance of an above ground stationary tank in accordance with API 653 or EEMUA 159 or relevant safe work instrument [Regulation 17.82(1), Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017].

The authorisation does not include stationary container systems that include transfer line between ship and stationary tank [Regulation 17.91(2)(i)(iii), Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017].

The authorisation for stationary container systems does not include vapourisers [Regulation 17.91(2)(f), Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017

The authorisation for stationary container systems does not include a design that is to be certified as per regulation 17.93(1)(a) [Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017].

The authorisation of stationary container systems does not include a fabricator for the purpose of constructing a stationary tank or process container in accordance with a design as per regulation 17.93(1)(b) [Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017].
