Locations where classes 3.2 or 4 substances are present [Regulation 10.36, Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017]
Conditions: The certification of locations where class 4 substances are present is limited to a maximum quantity of 10,000 kg.
Classes 5.1.1 or 5.1.2
Locations where classes 5.1.1 or 5.1.2 substances are present [Regulation 12.17, Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017]
Conditions: The certification of locations where class 5.1.1 substances are present is limited to a maximum quantity of 2,500 kg (solids) or 2,500 L (liquids).
The certification of locations where class 5.1.2 substances are present is limited to cylinders in storage and in use up to a maximum quantity of 5,000 kg (non-permanent gases) or 1,500 m3 (permanent gases).
The certification of locations where class 5.1.2 substances are present is limited to cylinders in storage and in use up to a maximum quantity of 5,000 kg (non-permanent gases) or 1,500 m3 (permanent gases).
Class 5.2
Locations where class 5.2 substances are present [Regulation 12.42, Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017]
Conditions: The certification of locations where class 5.2 substances are present is limited to organic peroxides in packaged goods only up to a maximum aggregate quantity of 2,000 kg.
Class 2.1.1
Locations where class 2.1.1 substances are present [Regulation 10.34, Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017]
Conditions: The certification of locations where class 2.1.1 substances are present is limited to:
i. packages (cylinders) to a maximum aggregate quantity of 1,000 kg or 1,000 m3 (permanent gases);
ii. storage in stationary container systems to a maximum quantity of 4,000 kg.

Class 3.1
Locations where class 3.1 substances are present [Regulation 10.34, Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017]
Conditions: The certification of locations where class 3.1 substances are present is limited to:
i. storage in closed packages in one or more AS 1940 cabinets to a maximum aggregate quantity of 1,000 L;
ii. closed packages with a maximum aggregate quantity of 2,000 L in a store in a building or a maximum aggregate quantity of 10,000 L in a type D store in a building as per Regulation 11.31, Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017;
iii. closed packages with a maximum aggregate quantity of 10,000 L for storage in a detached building;
iv. use up to a maximum aggregate quantity of 450 L.
i. storage in closed packages in one or more AS 1940 cabinets to a maximum aggregate quantity of 1,000 L;
ii. closed packages with a maximum aggregate quantity of 2,000 L in a store in a building or a maximum aggregate quantity of 10,000 L in a type D store in a building as per Regulation 11.31, Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017;

Conditions that apply for this authorisation
- You must perform the functions of a compliance certifier in an objective manner that promotes safety.
- You must remain a fit and proper person throughout the period of your authorisation.
- You are required to undergo ongoing training for the duration of this authorisation under the supervision of compliance certifier Mr Aaron Donald. As part of this supervision, you must have a peer review system in place to ensure that all compliance certificates are reviewed prior to being issued.
