Class 2.1.1
Locations where class 2.1.1 substances are present [Regulation 10.34, Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017]
Conditions: The certification of locations where class 2.1.1 substances are present is limited to packages (cylinders) to a maximum aggregate quantity of 1,000 kg (liquefied gases) or 1,000 cubic meters (permanent gases).
Class 3.1
Locations where class 3.1 substances are present [Regulation 10.34, Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017]
Conditions: The certification of locations where class 3.1 substances are present is authorised for:
i. storage in closed packages in one or more cabinets;
ii. storage in closed packages with a maximum aggregate quantity of 450 L in a store in a building;
iii. storage of packages in a separate building or external storage area to a maximum aggregate quantity of 3,000 L;
iv. storage in retail stores and shops as per Regulations 11.32 and 11.33, Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017;
v. use up to a maximum aggregate quantity of 450 L; and
vi. paint mixing rooms that are compliant with AS/NZS4114.
i. storage in closed packages in one or more cabinets;
ii. storage in closed packages with a maximum aggregate quantity of 450 L in a store in a building;
iii. storage of packages in a separate building or external storage area to a maximum aggregate quantity of 3,000 L;
iv. storage in retail stores and shops as per Regulations 11.32 and 11.33, Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017;
v. use up to a maximum aggregate quantity of 450 L; and
vi. paint mixing rooms that are compliant with AS/NZS4114.
Conditions that apply for this authorisation
- You must perform the functions of a compliance certifier in an objective manner that promotes safety.
- You must remain a fit and proper person throughout the period of your authorisation.
