Locations where class 3.1 substances are present [Regulation 10.34, Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017]
Scope: The certification of locations where class 3.1 substances are present is authorised for:
i. storage in packages in one or more cabinets;
ii. storage in packages in a separate building or external storage area;
iii. storage in packages in a store in a building with a maximum aggregate quantity of 5,000 L;
iv. locations containing stationary container systems, tank wagons, or transportable containers;
v. use to a maximum aggregate quantity of 450 L; and
vi. paint mixing rooms that are compliant with AS/NZS4114.
i. storage in packages in one or more cabinets;

Scope: The authorisation for the repair, alteration and maintenance of above ground stationary container systems is limited to tanks storing hazardous substances to a maximum capacity of 250,000 L per tank used or intended to be used to contain a hazardous substance.
