Conditions: The certification of handlers (class 1) is limited to:
i. Handlers in control of detonation and deflagration of class 1 substances for explosive detection work, land operations, pyrotechnical work, research, storage for distribution, and work with propellants.
ii. Handlers manufacturing class 1 category G substances, black powder (class 1 category D, UN0027), or commercial explosives containing ammonium nitrate and ammonium nitrate/fuel oil (ANFO).
iii. Handlers disposing of class 1 category G substances.
iv. Handlers in control of the transfer of class 1 substances from one type of transport to another [Part 9, subpart 5, Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017].
i. Handlers in control of detonation and deflagration of class 1 substances for explosive detection work, land operations, pyrotechnical work, research, storage for distribution, and work with propellants.
