Class 2.1.1
Locations where class 2.1.1 substances are present [Regulation 10.34, Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017]
Conditions: The certification of locations where class 2.1.1 substances are present is limited to:
i. packages (cylinders) to a maximum aggregate quantity of 1,000 kg stored where there are no buildings within 2 m of the packages (cylinders) as per regulation 11.20(4)(a) and (5)(a); and
ii. storage in stationary container systems to a maximum aggregate quantity of 12,000 L that:
a. exclude locations whereby the separation distances are reduced through the use of intervening walls; and b. exclude cylinder filling stations.

Conditions: The certification of locations where class 3.1 substances are present is limited to:
i. storage in above ground stationary container systems up to a maximum aggregate quantity of 120,000 L.
ii. storage in below ground stationary container systems up to a maximum aggregate quantity of 120,000 L.

ii. storage in below ground stationary container systems up to a maximum aggregate quantity of 120,000 L.
Installation
The installation of Stationary Container Systems [Regulation 17.91(2)(b), Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017]
Conditions: The authorisation for stationary container systems is limited to tanks a) installed prior to 1 July 2006 (existing) and; b) installed subsequent to 1 July 2006 which have previously been certified [Regulation 17.91(2)(b), Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017] up to maximum capacity of 120,000 L per tank used or intended to be used to contain a hazardous liquid.
The authorisation for stationary container systems does not include vapourisers [Regulation 17.91(2)(f), Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017].
The authorisation does not include stationary container systems that include transfer line between ship and stationary tank [Regulation 17.91(2)(i)(iii), Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017].
The authorisation for stationary container systems does not include the repair and alterations of above ground or below ground tanks [Regulation 17.91(2)(l), Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017].
The authorisation for stationary container systems does not include certification of a design as per regulation 17.93(1)(a) [Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017].
The authorisation of stationary container systems does not include certification of a fabricator for the purpose of constructing a stationary tank or process container in accordance with a design as per regulation 17.93(1)(b) [Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017].

Conditions that apply for this authorisation
- You must perform the functions of a compliance certifier in an objective manner that promotes safety.
- You must remain a fit and proper person throughout the period of your authorisation.
- You are required to undergo ongoing training under the supervision of compliance certifier Mr Ian Webster for the duration of this authorisation.
- You are required to have ongoing supervision from compliance certifier Mr Ian Webster for the duration of this authorisation. As part of this supervision, you must have a peer review system in place to ensure all compliance certificates are reviewed by Mr Ian Webster prior to being issued.
