Authorised to issue certificates for
Classes 2.1.1, 2.1.2 or 3.1
Locations where classes 2.1.1, 2.1.2 or 3.1 substances are present [Regulation 10.34, Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017]
Conditions: The certification of locations where class 2.1.1 substances are present is authorised for:
i. packages (cylinders) to a maximum aggregate quantity of 5,000 kg (liquefied gases) or 5,000 cubic meters (permanent gases);
ii. above ground bulk storage to a maximum quantity of 12,000 L.
The certification of locations where class 3.1 substances are present is authorised for:
i. storage in closed packages in one or more cabinets;
ii. storage in packages in a separate building or external storage area to a maximum aggregate quantity of 10,000 L;
iii. storage in packages with a maximum aggregate quantity of 2,000 L in a store in a building or a maximum aggregate quantity of 10,000 L in a type D store in a building as per regulation 11.31, Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017;
iv. bulk storage at previously certified vehicle refuelling facilities up to a maximum aggregate quantity of 80,000 L;
v. storage in retail stores and shops as per Regulations 11.32 and 11.33, Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017;
vi. use up to a maximum aggregate quantity of 2,000 L; and
vii. paint mixing rooms that are compliant with AS/NZS4114 .

Locations where classes 5.1.1 or 5.1.2 substances are present [Regulation 12.17, Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017]
Conditions: The certification of locations where class 5.1.1 substances are present does not include substances stored in bulk storage tanks;
The certification of locations where class 5.1.2 substances are present is limited to a maximum aggregate capacity of 1,500 kg (non-permanent gases) or 750 cubic meters (permanent gases).
The certification of locations where class 5.1.2 substances are present is limited to a maximum aggregate capacity of 1,500 kg (non-permanent gases) or 750 cubic meters (permanent gases).
Conditions that apply for this authorisation
- Ms Badurova must perform the functions of a compliance certifier in an objective manner that promotes safety.
- Ms Badurova must remain a fit and proper person throughout the period of this authorisation.
