Classes 2.1.1, 2.1.2 or 3.1
Locations where classes 2.1.1, 2.1.2 or 3.1 substances are present [Regulation 10.34, Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017]
Conditions: The certification of locations where class 2.1.1 substances are present is authorised for:
i. packages (cylinders) to a maximum aggregate quantity of 5,000 kg (liquefied gases) or 5,000 cubic meters (permanent gases); and
ii. above ground bulk storage to a maximum quantity of 12,000 L.
The certification of locations where class 3.1 substances are present is authorised for:
i. storage in closed packages in one or more cabinets; and
ii. storage of packages in a separate building or external storage area to a maximum aggregate quantity of 10,000 L; and
iii. storage in closed packages with a maximum aggregate quantity of 2,000 L in a store in a building; and
iv. bulk storage at previously certified vehicle refuelling facilities up to a maximum aggregate quantity of 90,000 L; and
v. storage in retail shops as per Regulations 11.32 and 11.33, Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017; and
vi. use up to a maximum aggregate quantity of 2,000 L; and
vii. paint mixing rooms that are compliant with AS/NZS4114.

Conditions: The certification of locations where class 5.1.1 substances are present is limited to the storage and use of packages up to an aggregate quantity of 25,000 kg or L.
The certification of locations where class 5.1.2 substances are present is limited to cylinders in storage and in use up to a maximum aggregate quantity of 1,500 kg (non-permanent gases) or 750 cubic meters (permanent gases).
